The ClimateChangePost is a website based in the Netherlands, focused on the latest news from science on climate change and adaptation. The website aims to help those who are searching for a quick but well-substantiated summary of the impact of climate change in their country or their field of interest. The website is an initiative of the private company Centre for Climate Adaptation, registered at the address Nieuwegracht 36B, 3512 LS Utrecht, the Netherlands.
The ClimateChangePost is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, you can be assured that it will be used lawfully and in accordance with this privacy policy.
What information we collect
If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
How your data is used
We will not sell your data to anyone else. Only authorised staff at the ClimateChangePost can view your personal details, and we take reasonable precautions to keep them secure.
We use Google Analytics to track and analyse user behaviour, in order to improve the site experience. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our website (see ‘Cookies and tracking’ below).
How you can access, correct or delete your data
You can contact us at any time by email or letter to change or update your details. At your request, we will give you all details of personal information held about you by the ClimateChangePost, once your identity has been satisfactorily verified. Incorrect information will be deleted or amended promptly. We will respond to these requests within 20 working days, unless there are exceptional circumstances, in which case we will inform you about the delay.
Cookies and tracking
We use "cookies" on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.

This means we’ve signed a data processing agreement with Google, we anonymize IP-addresses and have disabled data sharing.
We will not use Google Analytics cookies in combination with other Google services, such as Doubleclick and AdWords.
How can I block and delete cookies?
