‘‘Flagship’’ cultural and historical sites along the Bosphorus in Istanbul are definitely threatened by the projected rise in sea level, such as the 200 year old Dolmabahce Palace and Mosque, the Ortaköy Mosque, the Beylerbeyi Palace, and the Kücüksu Kiosk (1).
